Maximize Your Blogging Efforts – Turning Your Blog into Your Best Marketing Tool

Web marketing, internet advertising, internet advertising strategiesAs I have promised, here’s a post on what you can do to maximize your blogging efforts and eventually further your internet advertising effectiveness. Let me share to you a couple of ways to do that.

1. Use your blog to publicize sale dates. When you start doing this, your customers will begin to frequently visit your site to get sale information. Make sure you schedule quite a few discount days at the beginning of your blogging endeavors.

2. If you have an online store or a virtual catalog, make sure you connect your blog to it. What is great about having a blog is you can always talk about your products and/or services in your write-ups. When you do this, make sure you insert a link directed to your online catalog or store.

3. Make your referral programs known. When conversing with people who happened to have found your blog, you can always offer them incentives if they can refer people to avail of your products or services.

4. Publicize contests. It’s good to hold contests every once in a while. Aside from the fact that people love to win prizes, contests also allow you actually stir up your potential customers’ interest on your company or business. You can give away products from your very own catalog and try asking the winner to create a review for the product that he or she received or maybe schedule a quick interview to get feedback.

5. Make it a habit to answer questions.
Engaging with your customers would mean you need to invest time and effort by either asking them questions or answering theirs via the comment section of your business’ blog. The question that one customer would ask most probable is the same question others might want to ask. So answering one question might be as good as answering the questions of a lot of other people.

6. Compile stories from your customers. Whether it would come as a form of a testimonial or a positive comment you have made a mental note on, you can have all of these posted on your blog site. Most people would feel honored to see their names and read about themselves online so this would be a great strategy. You have to make sure that you get their permission though. ;)

7. Reply to ALL comments. Your readers will be able to feel how much you value their visits on your blog when you reply to all their comments regardless of what it says.

But aside from that, you also must know that blogging is one of the best ways to usher in advertising success. And not only that, it allows you to advertise your products and/or services for free!

So today, I am going to talk about business blogging and how it can create free publicity for you without you having to shell out tons and tons of cash.

If you have been working for the last 10-15 years, then I need not welcome you to the age of computers. I’d expect you also know how powerful the internet has become for online marketers these days. I’d understand if you don’t want to join their league because you already have your own business going yourself. But you must know that blogging is not exclusive for those who do web marketing. It can also work for you.

Let’s face it. I would assume more than half of your target market log on to their social media accounts or even surf the web everyday. If you will be able to let your customers (and even potential clients) to find you online and actually create content that is powerful enough to make them talk about your business or your company, then you definitely have hit the jackpot!

Not only do blogs have to be informational, they also have to be conversational in nature. Blogs not only have to capture the personality of the writer but communicate the characteristics of the company as well. Because of this, blogs allow, and even encourage, people to delve into the discussion. Having a blog could also be your gateway to getting in contact with other bloggers and businesses.

Most internet advertising agencies would agree with me if I say that the best way to reaching out to your market is through building good relationships. When you have good relationship with your customers, then you will have a market that is loyal to you and to your business – loyal enough to even talk about your products and services and even defend you when criticisms arise.

Because social media networks are increasingly becoming so popular, being able to generate online word of mouth isn’t very impossible to achieve. As an internet marketer, I would say that businesses are lucky to have done business in this age. Never allow this opportunity pass you by. Begin thinking of the best internet advertising strategies you want to make use of right now and start implementing them as soon as possible!
